The Work Of Science Has Nothing Whatever To Do With Consensus
 

We recently came across the following quote from Michael Crichton:

“The work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant are reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. It it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.”

You may ask “What does this have to do with me? Good question, we’ll get right to it.

We most likely have this in common: We do not put as much stock in what the majority of what the AMA, ADA, FDA and other government bodies say because they represent consensus. We care about what is true!

Here are some of the truths that we hold true. Most of you reading this article, most likely do as well! Some of these things have either been discovered or at least disseminated by us on the Caring Medical team. We might add that most of these, if not all, can be reproduced and verified by good science:

• The body heals by inflammation.
• Anti-inflammation makes the body weaker.
• Anti-inflammation stops healing.
• Anti-inflammation accelerates the arthritic process.
• Anti-inflammatory medications and cortisone and its derivatives accelerate the arthritic process.
• Narcotics are toxic to the immune system.
• Morphine and its derivatives suppress all cells of the immune system.
• Musculoskeletal injuries should be treated by promoting the healing inflammatory cascade.
Prolotherapy stimulates the body to repair painful areas.
• Many structures of the body can be repaired with Prolotherapy, including ligaments, tendons,
  menisci, labrum, and cartilage.
• Most chronic pain can be cured.
• Most chronic diseases can be cured.
• To heal optimally the body needs to be in an anabolic state.
• Hormones are vital in getting the body to heal optimally.
• The main function of food is to give the body the maximum amount of energy.
• Different people need to eat different foods to get the maximum amount of energy from their food.
Diet Typing is the best way to figure out what foods a person needs to eat.
Diet Typing is helpful to get the body in an anabolic state.
Diet Typing explains why some people do better on a vegetarian diet while others do better on more
  of a carnivorous diet.
• Plant based foods like grains and fruits acidify the blood.
• Protein based foods alkalinize the blood.
• Knowing your Diet Type is key to understanding which foods will make the person the healthiest.
• Food allergies are common.
• Most people’s health would benefit greatly by not eating foods they are allergic to.

In regard to consensus, it is doubtful Prolotherapy and Hauser Diet Typing (and thus The Hauser Diet) will ever be accepted by everyone. We believe wholeheartedly that as time goes on, the principles above will be more and more proven by reproducible, verifiable results. As such, those with an open mind will come to the same conclusions as we have. Ultimately, though, medicine will not change because Dr. Hauser and other natural medicine providers discover cures for seemingly incurable diseases, but by those brave souls who follow their treatment plans. No one can argue with a changed life. As armies of natural medicine zealots go forth to communicate the power of natural remedies like Prolotherapy and the Hauser Diet Types, people will be changed, one person at a time. Over many years, thousands upon thousands of people experience healing. When this happens, perhaps modern medicine and government bodies will realize the error of their ways. For now, however, we are not holding our breath.
